Are db killers and removable catalytic converters allowed? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.

Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided along with the installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. If problems arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.

The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for use in racing; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if it were on the track only, without saddlebags, without flashlight, and without license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right of repair returned to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
