Are dbkillers removable? Altering dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fastening is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for use in RACING on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on youtube.
The exhaust features a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without spotlight, and license plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the transformation to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair returned to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
