Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to undergo annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug-and-play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the available tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without saddlebags, flashlight, license plate holder, or any other parts that conflict with the altered gas angle due to the conversion to racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, from the date of purchase, with repair rights devolved to the GPR factory or nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one for repair; the customer must agree to re-install the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
