Are removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not in compliance with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with public road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in cases of incorrect installations.
A specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is advisable to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without luggage, without a torch, and number plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into a race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with repair rights returning to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
