Are db killers and removable catalytic converters allowed? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not meet public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop. No claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, and each silencer bears the homologation code. If you encounter problems during installation, you must stop and halt activities, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
If you buy online, it is recommended to purchase the product from a seller in YOUR NATION to ensure the item arrives with the appropriate approvals that must also comply with local legislation. Make sure before buying that the seller is trustworthy and offers items for your public road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, flashlight, license plate holder, or any other parts that would conflict with the different throttle angle due to the transformation into racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any refund requests will be rejected. From the moment of purchase, with the right to repair returned to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to re-install the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
