Db killers and removable catalysts? Altering the welds on the db killer and catalyst or tamper-proof screws or removing the fastening is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. If you encounter issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
If you purchase online, it is recommended to buy the product from a SELLER IN YOUR COUNTRY to ensure that the item arrives with the appropriate approvals which must also comply with local legislation. Make sure before buying that the seller is trustworthy and offers items for your road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens, not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for the installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as if on the track only, without bags, without lights and number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into race version. Abusing this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any warranty claims will be rejected. The warranty starts from the date of purchase, with the right to repair returning to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
