Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tampering screws or removing the fixings is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If any issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.

Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is advisable to read the instructions included in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for use in racing; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without saddlebags, without a flashlight and license plate holder, or other parts that would conflict with the different angle of the exhaust gas due to conversion to racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. This starts from the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
