Are dbkillers and removable catalytic converters? Altering the welds on the dbkiller and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If issues are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
If buying online, it is recommended to purchase the product from a seller in YOUR NATION to ensure the item arrives with the appropriate approvals that must also comply with local legislation. Ensure before purchasing that the seller is trustworthy and offers items suitable for your road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, flashlight, number plate holder, or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle following the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in a loss of product warranty. Starting from the purchase, with the right to repair by returning to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
