Removable db killers and catalytic converters? Altering the welds on the dbkiller and the catalyst or anti-tamper bolts or removing the fixation is illegal for road use and does not conform to EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is supplied, along with installation instructions, each silencer has the approval code. If issues are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to request information and/or advice from customer service immediately.
If you buy online, it is recommended to purchase the product from a SELLER IN YOUR NATION to ensure that the item arrives with the appropriate approvals that must also comply with local legislation. Ensure before buying that the seller is trustworthy and offers items for your road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or view tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use, removing the dbkiller is not only illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without saddlebags, without torch and number plate holder or other parts that could interfere with the different gas angle following the modification to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
