Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or anti-tamper screws, or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided along with the installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If you encounter problems during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.

No structural modification of the motorcycle is needed for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for use in racing; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight and number plate support or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle following the transformation into a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to loss of product warranty. From the purchase, there is a right to repair with return to the GPR factory or nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
