Removable Dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fastener is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; this is only allowed for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road is not in compliance with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, and the customer must check beforehand whether the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the motorbike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or available tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for use in races; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorbike as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight, and without a number plate holder or any other parts that would interfere with the different angle of the gas following the transformation into race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. This starts from the purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repairs.
