Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not in line with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install them in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to request information and/or advice from customer service immediately.

Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on youtube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without bags, without flashlight and licence plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to the race version. Abusing this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any claim will be rejected. This begins from the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
