Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws, or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is nonetheless recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as the installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.

No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust comes with a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not only illegal but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without bag, without flashlight, and without license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the point of purchase, with the right to repair with returns to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
