Are dbkillers removable? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the brackets is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations, this is only allowed for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of problems during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on youtube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not only illegal but also, the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, flashlight, and number plate holder, or other parts that could conflict with the different angle of the gas due to the conversion to racing version. Abusing this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any claims will be denied. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair and return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one being repaired, the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
