The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a saddlebag, without a flashlight and registration plate holder or any other parts that might conflict with the different throttle angle due to the transformation into a racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
The new Grand Prix Evo Titanium silencer from GPR has been created to celebrate its 20 years of presence in the MotoGP/Moto2/Moto3 World Championship. The first Grand Prix line was presented in 2005, at the debut of the Konica Minolta team and rider Makoto Tamada, as well as the LCR team and rider Casey Stoner. The silencer is conical, with a special shape ranging from a diameter of 90 mm to 130 mm in circumference and a variable length according to the motorcycle. It is equipped with a natural colour titanium sleeve, a black CNC machined end cap with pentagonal outlet, and a silencer.

Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-theft screws or removing the fixings is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with road traffic regulations on public road networks.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with assembly instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
