Removable Dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? YES
No structural modifications of the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle as on the track only, without luggage, flashlight, number plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the different angle of the gas due to the transformation into race version. Misuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of the product warranty. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair by returning it to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
