Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the fastening is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only permissible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.

No structural modification of the motorcycle is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is advisable to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on youtube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without saddlebags, without flashlights and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle resulting from the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of the product warranty, and any request for a claim will be rejected. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair returned to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
