Are dbkillers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the
welds on the dbkiller and the catalyst or anti-tamper screws, or
removing the attachment is illegal for road use and does not comply with
EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version
on the road does not comply with road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and
play, but it is still recommended to install the products
in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of
incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as the
mounting instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of any issues during installation, it
is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately request
information and/or advice from customer service.
If you purchase online, it is recommended to buy the product from
a seller in YOUR NATION to ensure that the item arrives
with the appropriate approvals that must also conform to the
local legislation. Make sure before buying that the
seller is trustworthy and offers items for your
road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit
is only required for local residents and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for
installation to use the product in an approved version. It is
recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible
tutorials on youtube.

The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for
race use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY
illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as
on the track only, without a bag, flashlight, or
number plate holder or any other parts that
might conflict with the different gas angle following the
conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the
road will result in the loss of the product guarantee. This starts from
the purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired,
the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait
the standard time for the repair.
