Are removable db killers allowed? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tampering screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not in compliance with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must first check if the presence of the original catalyser or the GPR catalyser is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately ask for information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It's recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without bags, without flashlights and number plate holders, or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle resulting from the conversion to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of product warranty, and any claims will be denied. Starting from the purchase, with the right to repair, with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer as a replacement for the one that needs repair; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
