Are the dbkillers removable? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws, or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only permitted for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise, and the customer must check beforehand if having the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it's still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with mounting instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If any problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for race use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without luggage, without flashlight, number plate holder, or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to the race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one being repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
