Db killers and removable catalytic converters? Altering the welds on the db killer and catalyst or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations, this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public roadway regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
If you buy online, it is recommended to purchase the product from a seller in YOUR COUNTRY to ensure that the item arrives with the appropriate approvals, which must also comply with local legislation. Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
It is mounted in a side position. No structural modification to the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without luggage, no flashlight, and license plate holder or other pieces that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into a race version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any warranty request will be rejected. From the moment of purchase, with the right to repair back to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repairs.
