Are db killers and removable catalytic converters allowed? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or anti-tamper screws, or removing the bracket, is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.

Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for use in racing; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different throttle angle due to the conversion to the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, there is a right to repair with a return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
