Dbkillers and removable catalytic converters? Altering the welds on the dbkiller and the catalyst or tamper-proof screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. The use of the open version on the road does not comply with public road regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. If any issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activities, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
If you purchase online, it is recommended to buy the product from a seller in YOUR COUNTRY to ensure that the item arrives with the appropriate approvals which must also comply with local legislation. Ensure before buying that the seller is trustworthy and offers items for your road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
It is mounted in a side position. No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for race use, removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without luggage, without a flashlight and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
