Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. The use of the open version on public roads does not comply with traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyser or GPR catalyser is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If problems are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications of the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on track only, without saddlebags, without flashlight and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to loss of product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with repair rights, with return to GPR factory or nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
