Removable db killers and catalytic converters? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or anti-tamper screws or removing the mount is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only allowed for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You may use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If any problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activities, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
If you purchase online, it is recommended to buy the product from a seller in YOUR COUNTRY to ensure that the item arrives with the proper approvals, which must also comply with local legislation. Make sure before purchase that the seller is trustworthy and offers items for your road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch the visible tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without a saddlebag, flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that conflict with the different throttle angle due to the transformation to racing version. Abusing this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the point of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
