Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper bolts or removing the mount is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have these products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
A specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. If problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without luggage, without a flashlight, and without a license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle resulting from the conversion to the racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any claims will be rejected. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair or return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
