For online purchases, it is necessary to activate the warranty by sending the appropriate coupon stamped by the installation workshop via email; for physical purchases, the shop's stamp is sufficient. The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if it were on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight, and without a number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the altered throttle angle due to the transformation into a race version. Abusing this situation on the road will lead to the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, there is a right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for repair.
The new Grand Prix Evo Black Titanium silencer from GPR was created to celebrate its 20 years of presence in the MotoGP/Moto2/Moto3 world championships. The first Grand Prix line was introduced in 2005, during the debut of Team Konica Minolta and rider Makoto Tamada, as well as Team LCR and rider Casey Stoner. The silencer is conical, with a special shape ranging from a diameter of 90 mm to 130 mm in circumference and a variable length depending on the bike. It is equipped with a black titanium sleeve treated for high temperature resistance, and CNC machined end caps with a pentagonal outlet and db killer.
