Removable db killers? Altering db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only permissible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise-approved; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road regulations and to perform the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have them installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
A specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. If any problems arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight, and without a number plate holder or any other parts that could conflict with the altered gas angle due to the transformation into a race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR's factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
