Removable Dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or security screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations, this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: This item is approved for noise, the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with public road traffic regulations and for the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, as well as installation instructions, each silencer carries the approval code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately ask for information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for use on the track; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as if on the track only, without luggage, flashlight, and license plate holder or other parts that could interfere with the different gas angle due to the transformation into a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right of repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
