Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or the anti-tampering screws or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations on public roads and to carry out the annual inspection.
You may use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still advisable to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, as well as the mounting instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. If problems arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? YES.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without luggage, without torch, and registration plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
