Removable dbkillers? Altering the dbkiller welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the fastening is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved, the customer must check in advance whether having the original catalyst or GPR catalyzer is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to complete the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have them installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided along with the installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If any problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? YES.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable dbkiller (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the dbkiller is not ONLY illegal, but the customer takes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without luggage, without a flashlight, and without a license plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, there is a right to repair to be sent back to GPR or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
