Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws, or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with regulations for public road networks.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with the installation instructions, each silencer bears the approval code. In case of any issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and to immediately ask for information and/or advice from customer service.

Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It’s recommended to read the instructions in the package or to view tutorials on YouTube.
The exhaust comes with a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use, removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without bags, without torch and number plate holder or any other parts that might conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to the race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. Starting from the purchase, with the right to repair with return to GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstate the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
