Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the mounting instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on youtube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for use in racing; removing the db killer is not only illegal but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, with no baggage, no flashlight, and no license plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the conversion to the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in voiding the product warranty and any warranty claims will be denied. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer as a replacement for the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
