Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives, this is only possible for RACING use on circuits; using the open version on the road does not comply with road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the mounting instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? Yes.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on and on YouTube.
The exhaust comes with a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if it were on the track only, without a saddlebag, without a flashlight, and without a license plate holder or any other parts that would interfere with the different throttle angle due to the transformation to racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in losing the product warranty, and any warranty claims will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
