Are removable db killers allowed? Altering db killer welds or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks; using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check beforehand if the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the approval code. If issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, immediately seeking information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? Yes.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on youtube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without luggage, without a flashlight, and license plate holder or other parts that might interfere with the different angle of the gas due to the transformation into the racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to loss of product warranty, and any requests for refund will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with a right to repair, with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one needing repair, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
