Are db killers and removable catalytic converters allowed? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Recommendations for installation: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have them installed in a professional workshop, no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific type approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If problems arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.

The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight and number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation to racing version. Misuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty and any claim will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to re-install the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
