Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the attachment is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks, using the open version on the road is non-compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is certified for noise, the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with public road traffic regulations and to undergo the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific certificate of conformity is provided, along with the mounting instructions, each silencer carries the certification code. If problems arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity and to seek information and/or advice from customer service immediately.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not only illegal but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as on the track only, without saddlebag, without flashlight and license plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different throttle angle due to the transformation into race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty and any claim will be rejected from the time of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to remount the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
