Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-tamper screws, or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU directives; this is only allowed for RACING use on the tracks. Using the open version on public roads does not comply with traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance if the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations and to perform the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still advisable to have them installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided along with mounting instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. If issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? YES.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as on the track only, without bags, without flashlight, and without number plate holder or other parts that could interfere with the altered gas angle from the conversion to the race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of warranty on the product, starting from the date of purchase, with the right to repair at the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one being repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
