Removable db killers and catalytic converters? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or the anti-tamper screws, or removing the mount is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions, each silencer has the approval code. In case of problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
If you buy online, it is recommended to purchase the product from a seller in YOUR NATION to ensure that the item arrives with the appropriate approvals that must also comply with local legislation. Make sure before buying that the seller is trustworthy and offers items for your road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is required only for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation in order to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the bike as on the track only, without a bag, without a flashlight and license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the gas angle due to the transformation into a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired, the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
