Are db killers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalytic converter, or tampering with the anti-tamper screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on race tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.

No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available online and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer takes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without luggage, no flashlight, and no number plate holder or other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to loss of product warranty, and any claims will be rejected. This is from the date of purchase, with the right to repair returned to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to refit the original exhaust or wait the standard time for repair.
