Dbkillers and catalytic converters removable? Altering the welds on the dbkiller and the catalyst or anti-theft screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with road traffic regulations on public road networks.
You can use the kit for the annual official inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with the mounting instructions; each muffler carries the homologation code. If issues arise during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
If you purchase online, it is recommended to buy the product from a seller in YOUR NATION to ensure that the item arrives with the appropriate approvals that must also comply with local legislation. Make sure before buying that the seller is trustworthy and offers items for your road network.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
Low position. No structural modifications to the bike are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials visible on and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on track only, without saddlebags, without flashlights, and license plate holders or any other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the conversion to a racing version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in loss of product warranty, and any claims for maintenance will be rejected. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new muffler instead of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
