Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-theft screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is approved for noise; the customer must check in advance whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is required in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it’s recommended to install the products at a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted for incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. If any problems occur during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend work, and to immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or watch tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without luggage, flashlight, license plate holder, or other parts that may interfere with the different gas angle due to conversion into race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the loss of product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair at the GPR factory or the closest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer instead of the one being repaired; the customer must agree to reattach the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
