Are db killers and removable catalytic converters allowed? Altering the welds on the db killer and the catalyst or anti-tamper screws or removing the mounting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.

Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific approval certificate is provided along with the mounting instructions, and each silencer bears the approval code. In case of any problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately seek information and/or advice from customer service.

The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not only illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without luggage, flashlight, license plate holder, or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation into a race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to loss of product warranty, and any claim will be rejected. From the time of purchase, with the right of repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer’s expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one for repair; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard repair time.
