Enduro Bearings Bearing Enduro 6904 LLU MAX - ABEC 3 MAX Radial

6904 LLU MAX - MAX - Design, ABEC-3, Radial Suspension Bearing - 20mm x 39mm x 9mm Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX type bearings almost 20 years ago for bicycles to address the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. MAX bearings offer 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings due to a special design where the maximum number of balls are inserted into the bearing via a custom ground slot in the rings. The extra balls, combined with the deep grooves in the rings of these bearings, provide better lateral support for the torsional and multidirectional forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This ABEC-3 bearing features deep-groove rings, grade 10 balls, and double-lipped full-contact labyrinth seals (LLU) for maximum protection from the elements, while keeping Almagard extra-high-pressure grease 90 percent inside. This bearing has been commonly used as a suspension pivot bearing by Forbidden Bicycles. The Enduro line of bearings is available in high carbon chrome steel, 440C stainless steel, hybrid ceramic and XD15 with ceramic or stainless steel balls. Our bearings are always designed with the deepest possible grooves to accommodate the largest balls and feature double lip seals that move in a micro groove creating a complete labyrinth to provide superior protection from the elements.
