6002 LLU MAX BO - Black powder, MAX design, ABEC-3, radial suspension bearing - - 15mm x 32mm x 9mm - Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX bearings over 20 years ago for bikes to tackle the challenges associated with MTB pivots. MAX bearings offer 35 to 40% more load capacity compared to standard radial bearings thanks to a special design where the maximum number of balls is inserted into the bearing, through a custom-machined slot in the raceways. The additional balls, combined with deep grooves in these bearings, provide better lateral support for the twisting and multidirectional forces associated with MTB pivots. This MAX bearing, coated in black powder, ABEC-3, features deep-groove raceways, with Grade 10 balls and double-lip labyrinth seals (LLU) for maximum protection against the elements while maintaining a 90% fill of Almagard extra high-pressure grease inside and a black/magnetite powder coating that offers an extra level of corrosion resistance and prolonged hassle-free performance. This bearing has been used as a suspension pivot bearing by several bike brands. The Enduro bearing range is available in high-carbon chrome stainless steel, 440C stainless steel, hybrid ceramic, and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless steel balls. Our bearings are always designed with the best possible deep grooves to accommodate the largest balls and have double-lip seals that slide into a micro-groove creating a complete labyrinth to provide superior protection against the elements.
