Elite Water battle Jet

A new biodegradable model made of compressible food-grade polyethylene. This year, Elite welcomes a new special water bottle model to its cycling range, the Jet, made of biodegradable plastic. Available in four sizes, it adapts to all your hydration needs on your bike (350, 550, 750 and 950 ml). The Jet combines the best of the quality and performance of the most popular Elite bottles, such as lightness, abundant liquid flow and a tasteless mouthpiece, while incorporating the use of biodegradable plastic material to reduce the environmental impact of the bottle. Creating more sustainable alternatives for products such as sports bottles, which are already an environmentally friendly approach to the traditional single-use bottle, has become an increasingly pressing requirement due to the growing awareness of plastic use and its impact on the environment. The Jet bottle meets these requirements because it reduces the time needed for the bottle to degrade once it enters regular industrial composting cycles, becoming one of the most innovative alternatives to traditional non-biodegradable plastic bottles. The plastic material used to create Jet is treated with a special bio-additive that causes the microorganisms responsible for biodegrading the material to attack the polymer chain of the plastic. This process significantly reduces the time it takes for the bottle to degrade (from 3 months to 5 years). This is something that ordinary plastic products cannot do (they usually take 100 to 1000 years to decompose). The bottle has a new sporty, sophisticated and practical design that has allowed us to achieve greater strength in the body of the bottle while keeping its lightness and softness unchanged. Characterized by an elegant and sinuous profile, the Jet has a smaller diameter profiled bottle body to facilitate and improve the handling, insertion and removal of the water bottle in all circumstances. The standard 74 mm diameter of the Jet (66 mm for the 350 ml version) allows it to fit all commercially available bottle holders. The opening, rapide to be unscrewed, facilitates the washing and the drying of the bottle. Like all Elite bottles, Jet is also made of certified BPA (Bisphenol-A) free plastic materials, totally safe and in compliance with all the most restrictive EC and FDA regulations regarding products that come into contact with foodstuffs.

• The Jet canister features the custom Elite cap and innovative push-pull tip, which not only makes it easier to open and close the canister while you're on your bike, but is also designed to provide a more rapide and abundant flow of liquid at all times.
• The bottle's rubber mouthpiece features an innovative, odorless and tasteless material designed to effectively keep the taste of the liquid unaltered.
