We produce a set of angular contact ball bearingsA/C specifically designed for hubs. In a standard radial cartridge bearing, only 3 or 4 balls are in contact with the race when the bearing is loaded. In an angular contact bearing, all balls are in contact, thus distributing the forces over a larger area to reduce friction and minimize wear. Backlash can be adjusted to provide a more stable wheel and make it easier to adjust the disc brakes while allowing the wheel to rotate freely.
