Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or tamper-proof screws or removing the fixture is illegal for road use and non-compliant with EU directives; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on public roads is not compliant with traffic regulations.
WARNING: This item is approved for noise, the customer must check beforehand whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Installation recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
A specific approval certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer carries the approval code. In case of issues during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust has a removable db killer (noise limiter) for track use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer takes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if on the track only, without a bag, flashlight, or license plate holder, or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will result in the product's warranty being void. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer as a replacement for the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait the standard time for the repair.
