Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or anti-theft screws, or removing the fixing is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU regulations; this is only possible for RACING use on tracks. Using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved, the customer must check beforehand whether the presence of the original catalyst or the GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install the products in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of any problems encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, and immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit is only required for local citizens and not for tourists.
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or see tutorials available on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for race use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the motorcycle as if it were on the track only, without bags, without a flashlight, and without number plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the different angle of the gas due to the conversion to race version. Abuse of this situation on the road will lead to the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair with return to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer as a replacement for the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reinstall the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
