Altering the welds of the db killer or tamper-proof screws, or removing the fixings is illegal for road use and does not comply with EU guidelines; this is only permitted for RACING use on tracks, the use of the open version on the road does not comply with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is noise approved; the customer must check in advance whether the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with traffic regulations and to perform the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to have the products installed in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in case of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. In case of issues encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend the activity, immediately request information and/or advice from customer service.
Is it limited to 95Db for Tyrol and Switzerland? No, but this limit only applies to local citizens, not tourists.
No structural modification of the bike is required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package or the visible tutorials on youtube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes responsibility for using the bike as if on the track only, without bags, without flashlights, and without the license plate holder or any other parts that would conflict with the different gas angle due to the transformation to racing version. Abusing this situation on the road will result in the loss of the product warranty. From the date of purchase, with the right to repair by returning it to the GPR factory or the nearest official distributor at the customer's expense.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer to replace the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard time for the repair.
